The transformation of Palazzo Tornabuoni, to house the Florentine branch of Istituto Marangoni, involved converting a historical building into a university, also adding new commercial spaces on the ground level. In the very delicate context of Florence city center, ASZ Architetti’s responsibilities included obtaining all building permits, addressing fire regulations, and structural strengthening. The project combined modern functinality with historical restoration, resulting in a distinctive educational space in the very heart of Florence.
