STORY
Founded in 1998 by architect Andrea Sensoli, in Florence, ASZarchitetti swiftly started collaborations with top clients in the retail sector.
Significant indeed is the partnership with Gucci, which opened the path to a specialization that would have shaped the future of the company forever. In fact, after that many other luxury brands entered in ASZ architetti portfolio, rising that demand for excellent results in total control. At the same time it widened the technical network, giving access to all the best contractors, suppliers and fellow professionals: “it’s been a wonderful journey, full of amazing places and inspiring people… I learned a lot and I grew fast, both as a professional and an individual (A.S.)”.
Evolving into a group enterprise, the office has since expanded from Florence to Milan and Dubai; a significant parenthesis in Shanghai, then finally Riyadh.
In 2005, two promising brilliant talents joined the venture: Andrea Rettori, creative mind and fine intellectual, and Iacopo Mannelli, passionate building Engineer. It’s been the latter that, Since 2012, has been serving as General Manager of the Milan and Florence offices. Beside keeping the pace with the business, Iacopo diversified operations into Hospitality and launched an ambitious plan of growth for the Engineering Divisions.
Meanwhile, Andrea managed the international expansion, keeping the leadership on the group, always in close collaboration with Iacopo and Rettori. “… In 2015, we gladly realized that the engineering business had outpaced the creative part, so we decided to spin it off and create a new brand for the office: we called it SUPERFUTUREDESIGN*, where the asterisk stays for “by ASZ architetti”, to mark the strict interoperability, within our Holistic Vision”.
Ever since, we have been creating concepts under the label of SFD* while, as the group’s executive arm, ASZ Architetti has been following about the complexity in engineering, design development and project management.
ASZ architetti’s portfolio showcases a plethora of successful collaborations with fashion houses the like of Tiffany, Cartier, Dior, Gucci, Prada, Burberry among others, and the execution of many important residential, commercial and hospitality projects. With a remarkable record of over 600 projects – across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, ASZ architetti has earned a reputation for excellence and innovation.

THE GROUP
Spread out in four offices – Florence, Milan, Dubai and Riyadh, ASZ architetti Group is made of four companies and two business divisions: ASZ architetti & SUPERFUTUREDESIGN*.
The former is the executive arm, that deals with engineering, design development and project management. The latter is the creative concern, dealing with the Concept design. Together, the two components give life to the Group’s vision.
